Scammed? Call 997 now

997 is the National Scam Response Centre, 24 hours. The call counts as a police report. The first 60 minutes after a transfer matter most.

Never share an OTP or TAC. No real bank or agency asks.
Never install an APK or "update" sent by message.
Never move money to a "safe account".
No name, staff ID or office line you can verify? Treat it as a scam.

How to check it works

Turn Wi-Fi off so the phone uses mobile data.
Open an ad-heavy site such as speedtest.net.
The ad slots should be empty.

A blank response from this server is normal. It answers DNS, not web pages.
